Who is Interweave Press?
Founded in 1975 by Linda Ligon, INTERWEAVE PRESS, a unit of Aspire Media, is one of the nation's largest craft media companies with businesses in magazine and book publishing, interactive media, broadcast programming, and events for craft enthusiasts. Linda Ligon remains with the company as creative director, a member of INTERWEAVE PRESS’S board, and as an investor in ASPIRE.

Interweave produces 14 craft-enthusiast subscription magazines and many more special interest publications. It has more than 250 books in print and annually publishes about 40 best-selling, how-to craft books.

What is Bead Fest?
Bead Fest shows are held in the Eastern United States,with Bead Fest Philadelphia being the largest show on the East Coast! For 2008, Bead Fest events will be held in the Philadelphia area (Bead Fest - Wire and Bead Fest Philadelphia) and Miami. These fun-filled events feature vendors showcasing beads, gems, jewelry, tools, silver, and other jewelry making supplies from around the world, as well as classes taught by the best instructors in the industry, for beginners through advanced jewlery makers and designers. What is Bead Expo?
Bead Expo is now Bead Fest! Our events are Interweave Press' Mid-West and West Coast bead shows. We held two Bead Expo events in 2008: Portland and Phoenix. In 2009, Bead Expo returns to Santa Fe as Bead Fest Santa Fe. Bead Expo was established in 1992 and in 2006 was bought by Aspire Media /Intereweave Press. Originally located in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Bead Expo will return to Santa Fe in March 2009 and yearly afterwards in March. Bead Expo/Bead Fest has grown into one of the largest Mid-West/Western shows in the USA. Bead Fest offers a wide array of award winning instructors and workshops and a stellar line up of exhibitors selling beads from around the world, wholesale and retail!

How many shows do you have?
We currently produce five Bead, Gem and Jewelry events country wide. Two on the East Coast: Bead Fest Wire, and Bead Fest Philadelphia. Two on the West Coast: Bead Fest Portland and Bead Fest Santa Fe.
